Objective 1:
Enhancing Replayability in an Arcade-Style Game
The client was developing a fast-paced arcade game designed for short, exciting play sessions. Achieving a balance between immediate fun and long-term replayability was key to capturing and retaining players’ attention.
Creating a concise game experience that still motivates players to return frequently posed a significant challenge. Without careful tuning, the gameplay risked feeling repetitive or lacking depth.
Our QA team provided detailed, ongoing feedback on gameplay pacing and difficulty progression. By analyzing player engagement patterns and suggesting targeted improvements, we helped the developer refine the game’s flow and replay incentives.
The developer delivered a polished arcade experience that is both fun and addictive, encouraging players to come back repeatedly. This enhanced player engagement supports the game’s long-term success in a competitive market.

Objective 2:
Achieving Xbox Controller Compatibility
The client aimed to include Xbox controller support alongside keyboard and mouse inputs. Seamless controller functionality was essential for player accessibility and comfort.
Initial builds showed incomplete controller integration, with several compatibility issues that impaired gameplay for users relying on Xbox controllers.
We deployed testers exclusively using controllers, focusing on Xbox devices. Our team systematically identified all compatibility problems, including control mapping inconsistencies and UI feedback errors, and provided comprehensive reports to the developers.
Following our thorough testing and feedback, the development team implemented full Xbox controller support. This improvement broadened the game’s accessibility and enhanced the overall player experience.
