Objective 1:

 Implementing Seamless Controller Support

  • Overview

The client aimed to ensure full compatibility with both Xbox and PlayStation controllers for a smooth and enjoyable gameplay experience.

  • The Challenge

While initial support for controllers existed, inconsistencies in button mapping, responsiveness, and UI feedback created a disconnect between user expectations and actual gameplay, risking a subpar experience on consoles.

  • Our Solution

We conducted extensive testing across multiple controller types, simulating real-world gaming scenarios. Our team focused on responsiveness, control layout logic, and how the game communicated inputs to the player. We documented every friction point and usability concern, delivering precise, actionable feedback to the development team.

  • The Result

Thanks to our collaboration, the developer was able to fine-tune controller handling, improve user interface cues, and ensure consistent performance across both Xbox and PlayStation devices. The result was seamless controller support that elevated the overall console experience and contributed to a polished multi-platform release.

Objective 2:

Delivering a Smooth Multilingual Launch

  • Overview

To reach a broader international audience, the client introduced several new language options, including French, into the game.

  • The Challenge

Adding new languages presented two main risks: incorrect localization and font rendering issues, particularly for languages that use diacritical marks. Inaccuracies or broken text could negatively impact player immersion and professionalism.

  • Our Solution

Our team performed an in-depth localization and font tests across all newly added languages. We checked for broken characters, alignment issues, and language-specific display errors. For the French version, we assigned a native French-speaking tester to carefully review each line of in-game text for grammar, clarity, and cultural accuracy.

  • The Result

With our support, the developers launched the multilingual update without any font or localization errors. The French localization was clean, fluent, and fully aligned with the game’s tone, contributing to a smooth, high-quality release across international markets.
