Privacy policy and cookies
In short: you can read this site without providing any data. Visit statistics (Google Analytics) are switched on only if you agree in the banner. We show no ads and do not profile visitors. Checklist ticks and tool inputs stay in your browser.
Data controller
The controller is Jumbo Jelly, the operator of jumbojelly.com. Contact for data matters: contact@jumbojelly.com.
What data and which tools
| Tool | What it processes | When |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd.) | Pages viewed, clicks on our offer links and the booking link, use of tools and checklists, approximate location, device and browser type, referrer. Cookies _ga and _ga_*. |
Only after you click “Accept statistics”. |
| Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and CDN) | IP address and technical request data needed to deliver the page and protect against attacks. | Every visit. |
Browser storage (localStorage: jj_consent, jj_chk_*) |
Your consent decision and date; which checklist items you ticked. Stays in your browser, never sent to us. | After you choose in the banner or tick a checklist. |
| Calendly (booking a call) | If you book a call, Calendly processes the name, e-mail and time you enter under its own privacy policy. | Only on calendly.com, after you click the booking link. |
Without consent, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics do not load at all: the browser does not connect to Google and stores no analytics or advertising cookies. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with all
consent types denied by default. If you withdraw consent, we delete the _ga cookies. We do not collect names or e-mail addresses on this site; if you e-mail us, we use your address only to reply.
Purpose and legal basis
- Visit statistics (which articles and tools are useful, how many people go on to book a call): your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules on cookies). You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect earlier processing.
- Delivering the site and security (Cloudflare hosting): our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Replying to your e-mail or booking: steps before a contract and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
How long we keep data
Google Analytics 4 event data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. The _ga cookie expires 2 years after your last visit unless you withdraw consent earlier. E-mail correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle the matter.
Recipients and transfers outside the EEA
Google and Cloudflare process data on our behalf and may transfer it to the USA; both participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and use standard contractual clauses. We do not sell data and do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or restrict your data, request a copy, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent. Write to contact@jumbojelly.com. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
How to change your cookie decision
Click (also in the footer of every page) and choose again. After you decline, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also clear site data in your browser settings; the banner then appears on your next visit.
