Game QA services for PC and Steam

Six kinds of testing, one Team Lead, bugs logged straight into your Jira, Trello or ClickUp. We are a PC game QA studio with indie-studio roots: we plug into your workflow in days and hand your programmers bugs they can reproduce and fix. Not sure where to start? A Smoke Test costs €290 and takes 2 business days.

See what our reports look like before you book anything.

Functional and regression testing

We hunt for crashes, broken mechanics, progression blockers, save issues and logic errors, and log each one with steps to reproduce, severity and video where it helps. Before a release we run regression passes, so last week’s fix does not break this week’s build.

Good for: demos, Early Access and 1.0 launches, every patch. Patch Day QA Checklist.

Performance testing, including Steam Deck

Frame rate, stutter, loading and memory on a range of PC hardware, from lower-end laptops to high-end desktops and the Steam Deck. You get the scenes where the game struggles, with settings and numbers, so programmers know where to look.

Good for: ambitious visuals, low-end and Steam Deck players, pre-launch checks. On Blood West this fed into low-end hardware optimization.

Multiplayer testing

We play your online modes together to find desync, connection drops and matchmaking problems, then push sessions harder, with more units and more players, to see where they break.

Good for: co-op and PvP games, netcode changes, online betas. On Frozenheim our stress tests helped the team reach stable online play.

Localization QA and translation

We check translated text in the running game: truncation, overlaps, missing strings, wrong context, fonts that lack characters. Need the translation itself? We do French with native linguists.

Good for: launches in new languages, games with lots of UI text. French for POSTAL: Brain Damaged and Frozenheim.

Achievements testing

We unlock every Steam achievement the way players will, check triggers and stats, and flag the ones that are missable, broken or too easy. After updates we re-check them, including speedrun routes.

Good for: pre-launch checks, updates that touch progression. Speedrun routes verified after a POSTAL: Brain Damaged update.

Playtesting

Beyond bugs, we tell you how the game feels: pacing, difficulty, camera, controls and balance, with specifics a designer can act on.

Good for: alpha builds, balance passes, “is this fun yet?” moments. Alpha feedback on Hordes of Hunger, while changes were still cheap.

How an engagement runs

  1. Call, 30 minutes. The game, the milestone, what worries you most. We say whether a Smoke Test or a Health Check fits, or neither.
  2. Build and brief. A Steam branch key or build access, one contact person, an NDA if you use one. A one-page brief helps; here is the template.
  3. Testing. Testers play on hardware you do not own, guided by a Team Lead who triages every report.
  4. Report and debrief. Prioritized bugs with repro steps and video, in your tracker or as a standalone report, plus a call on what to fix first.

What we do not do

Mobile, console and certification work. We test PC games on Steam, on Windows and on the Steam Deck. If your project is elsewhere, we will say so on the call and save you the hour.

Tell us your game and your date

We will tell you what we would test first.
